Facebook Dating is for adults 18+ who have a Facebook account in good standing. Dating isn’t currently available to everyone. If your country is not listed among the supported countries Facebook Dating feature will not be available to you or anyone in your country. Facebook Dating is unavailable for Facebook web (for Desktop users). Facebook Dating makes it easier to find love through what you like — helping you start meaningful relationships through things you have in common, like interests, events and groups. It takes the work out of creating a dating profile and gives you a more authentic look at who someone is. Today, we’re launching Facebook Dating in the US.

Facebook Dating is Unavailable and Facebook Dating Not working are two different issues. Since the launch of Facebook Dating over 1.5 billion matches have been created in the 46 countries where Facebook Dating feature is available and in Europe alone, Facebook Dating has helped more people find meaningful relationships through things they have in common, like interests, events and groups.
If you observe carefully, the first sentence above clearly reveals why Facebook dating is unavailable to many users. Not all countries are currently supported. Albeit, there may be more reasons why Facebook is unavailable to you especially if your countries is listed among the supported countries.
Why is Facebook Dating so popular that a lot of users want to access this feature?
Stories: Facebook Dating stories enable you to share moments from your everyday life so you can find a meaningful connection with someone who is interested in what you’re into and you choose to share Facebook or Instagram Stories on your Dating profile
Secret Crush:Facebook Dating Secret Crush feature lets you explore potential relationships with people you already know on Facebook and/or Instagram. You can select up to nine of your Facebook friends or Instagram followers who you’re interested in. If your crush adds you to their Secret Crush list too, it’s a match!
Virtual Dates: You can start a video chat with your match by tapping on the video icon in your chat. Starting the call will send an invitation, and once they accept, they will join your video call and you can get to know each other better. Your first name and Dating profile photo will be displayed when starting the call.

- If your country is among the supported countries and you are below 18, Facebook Dating feature will not be available for you. Facebook Dating is for adults 18+ who have a Facebook account in good standing. Dating isn’t currently available to everyone.
- If your country is not listed among the supported countries Facebook Dating feature will not be available to you or anyone in your country.
- Facebook Dating is unavailable for Facebook web (for Desktop users). For now, Facebook Dating is only available on Facebook iOS & Android users only. It is built directly into the main Facebook app so it doesn’t require any extra downloads.
- Many Facebook users do not know how to locate Facebook Dating.
How to locate Facebook Dating feature on Facebook App
First, go to the Facebook app, tap on the menu icon in the upper right side of the screen and tap on Dating. (If you don’t see the Dating option, you need to tap the See More option.) Then, you’ll be taken to the dating section of Facebook. Click on Get Started and follow the on-screen directions for setting up a profile. You’ll need to specify the gender you’re looking for, location and choose a nice photo of yourself.
